Emma is a young alchemist who lives in Echichi Town. Life is great for her until one day, her mother suddenly goes missing. It turns out that her mother had incurred a hefty debt of 1,000,000 gold to the Baron of Echichi Town, Lord Umuru.

There are a variety of quests and bounties commissioned by the Adventurer's Guild that pay handsome rewards, but require Emma to dive head-first into peril and danger. On the other hand, she can make use of her alchemical abilities to complete quests to help out the villagers and guild alike. What mysteries await Emma on her journey to repay her debt?
