Advice for consumers This game is rated PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for anyone below this age. This rating has been given due to frequent graphic violence and infrequent strong language. Brief outline of the game Reboot of the classic first-person shooter series. Use an arsenal of devastating weapons to shoot, slash and crush your way through demonic hordes, in both campaign and multiplayer modes. Content specific issues The game features graphic, gory violence throughout, as enemies are blown apart with guns and sliced up with chainsaws. The majority of violence in the campaign is against demonic fantasy characters, though there are instances of violence against humans. For example, at one point, your character rips the arm off a mutilated human corpse. Gross violence against humans appears mainly in the multiplayer, where players can turn their weapons on each other. For instance, using a rocket launcher against an enemy will often result in them exploding into blood, gibs and some clearly distinguishable human parts. There is one instance of the word ‘Fucking’. Other issues The game features online playing capability which may involve real-time interaction with other players.
